As the creative director of Anteprima, Izumi Ogino has always been known for her concept-driven approach to design that inspired by contemporary art. She always celebrates the experience of life, joy and freedom of being Women. Not limited to arts, she found herself and the brand share the same value with one of the world's celebrated global icons, Barbie™.

Based on the artwork of 1959 Barbie™, the very first Barbie collection, Anteprima applies the iconic graphic of 1959 Barbie™ series to our entire collection from Signature Wirebag, MISTO, Ready-to-wear to Premium Gift. It combines modern classics for modern women, designed to last, season after season; ageless and borderless.

Apart from our elegant Wirebag pieces, the 1959 Barbie™ is also being translated into Anteprima Misto Collection. Focusing on lightless and daily usage, utilizing eye-catching bi-color illustrations as the key element, we created two bag styles with pouch as accessory in the ANTEPRIMA x BARBIE™ Misto Collection.

Additionally, the classic design also extends to pouch accessory, this line offers two palettes which are both remarkably distinctive in terms of styling and craft - the monotone pouch is created also using polyester to minimize its weight and thickness. This pouch is well-equipped with a spacious inner construction that offers high functionality: front panel with two insert pocket and back panel with one insert pocket. To enhance the luxurious, it comes with 20mm of logo ring on zipper puller.

This elegant woman is also embroidered on the brand’s signature knitwear. We offer two styles, AK 21S 14 237 and AK 21S 14 238 which showcase the iconic original pattern of Barbie™ in 1950s in jacquard and combined with polka dots which is a signature motif of Anteprima. Adding more styles of ready-to-wear to the collaboration for a more viral launch, designers introduced the tee capsule collection, AW 21S 59 217 with 1959 Barbie™. The classic Barbie™ is presented in pop art style for a vivid finishing.

Full ANTEPRIMA Spring/Summer 2021 BARBIE™ Collection will be available starting from 1st March, 2021 at all ANTEPRIMA, ANTEPRIMA/WIREBAG (WIREBAG only) and SIDEFAME online store.
